Ed and I are so excited to once again perform our original songs at the NSAI Songwriter Showcase. It will be at the Sidewalk Café, in Manhattan, on September 30th, from 5-8:45. Come on down, have a juicy burger, a delicious drink, and relax to the music:)
And it's Fall! The air is getting cooler, the leaves will be changing colors soon. And we are starting off the Fall with many wonderful happenings! Besides our songwriter showcase, 3 of our songs were selected to be part of Bree Noble's Music With a Conscience Podcast Series, on Women of Substance Internet Radio, episodes #851, #852 and #859. The songs selected were Windows, Save a Child, and Let a Flower Grow. They are available to hear on iTunes, and Spotify.
(Not sure if you know this about us, but we perform at all kinds of venues. They include public libraries, senior care centers, pre-k schools, house concerts, and more. We have performed at restaurants, women's clubs, and we are always available for new bookings:)
Some Past Shows of Note:
We have performed in public libraries, and these are a few of our featured programs- The Feel of Brazil was a big hit, with Samba-Bossa Nova tunes everyone knows and loves. And we included a couple of originals in that style, too! The Great American Songbook includes songs from such favorite composers as Richard Rodgers, George Gershwin and so many more!
We did a folk music concert at the Flushing Library, and the crowd loved us! We did a combination of well known folk songs by Peter, Paul and Mary, Gordon Lightfoot, Judy Collins and so many others! We included some folk originals as well. Perfect for a family show! We were invited back there again this year, in June. We'll let you know the details as the event draws closer:)

The Ladies Garden Club of Douglaston was so much fun for our holiday performance on December 19th! Ed and I enjoyed hearing our holiday music on 5 internet radio podcasts sponsored by Bree Noble.
It's August 3'rd, 2017, and Ed and I just got back from a fabulous time performing at the home of Kathy Parsons, renowned pianist, teacher, reviewer, and sheet music proofreader at MainlyPiano.com, in Florence, Oregon! (And she makes a mean spaghetti and meat sauce!) She, her mom, and her guests were a welcoming audience, and made sharing our music delightful:) Ed played both solo piano, and piano or guitar as I sang. He was amazing!
I was told that I actually brought people to tears with "the beauty of my voice". (That's the best feeling, to be able to pour out your heart and make that kind of connection)
Also this month, our original folk songs, 'Ordinary Joe' and 'Calling Back My Youth' will be featured in the rotation of Women of Substance Radio. All of the songs are from our very soon to be released CD , "Windows." The song "Windows" itself, will be included in a "Most Loved Podcast Series," thanks to Bree Noble:)
And... three of our song covers were accepted for Women of Substance Radio, "Wonderful World", "Nevertheless", and "Bye, Bye Blues," for a podcast series of cover songs:)
