The video of this beautiful children's song, which we all took part in at last year's CMN conference, was the culmination of many voices, of all ages. The song "Let the World Be Well" written by Pam Donkin, is shown here with individual CMN members, including myself, singing parts of the song. It really was delightful to have been part of. Listen. It will relax you and put a smile on your face- trust me:)

Our second music conference with these amazing people- you can still learn and have fun at the same time!

People always like what they know- and children's songs are no exception! The kids were really singing and participating at this public library event!

What a Salt-Of-The-Earth group of people! It was so delightful to attend the Children's Music Network conference in beautiful Hyannis, Massachusetts last year:) And we're going back in October again- this time it's in Sandusky,Ohio-can't wait!

"I'm Glad I'm Not a Monkey" is number one on iTunes, and a pet favorite of ours. It is a song about self-esteem, something we all need, as children and adults, to be happy.

The beauty of nature and the seasons is acted out by the children as the leaves change color and descend from the tree branches:)

This fun song allows children to acknowledge their range of feelings,  in a positive, uplifting way!

The Children's Page :)

Ed and I have taught music in the New York City school system for many years. Working with the children inspired many original songs, and culminated in an original Children's Music CD. "It Goes This Way" can be found online , www.cdbaby.com/carolnicodemi , and in more than 100 public libraries throughout the United States.

The Children's Music Network has featured our song "Two Kids In the City" in their Tuneful Tuesdays Blog. We love to perform for children, and have done so in many public libraries in NYC. We worked with children from every culture, and stressed diversity and love for all.  Adults have much to learn from children sometimes.:)

Our daughter Elyse Orecchio, shares the vocals with me on this CD, Ed plays guitar, piano and flute, and his former high-school student, Federico Zegarra, is on percussion.  Our son-in-law, Joseph Orecchio,  lucky for us, is our photographer as well.

My friend ,co-teacher, talented artist and children's story writer, Carol Hamill, did the lyrics for "Monet's Garden" and "Vincent Van Gogh".

There are at least a dozen new original children's songs scheduled for our upcoming Children's CD, now that our mostly folk CD, "Windows," is completed.  We might even get the grandkids in on that one! We'll keep you posted:) (Scroll down to see some flyers of past library children's shows!)
